My (almost) first vertical deviation. At least, the first to have nothing to do with portraits :)
Shot yesterday. Some editing here and there, mostly colors.

WOW this is some great stuff. i really love the gradient with 3 diffrent colors from top to bottom in this pic. And i think its great that the trees in the bottom are sillhoutets. really ads to this pic. And the colors are so well contrasted. REALLY nice work.

Amazing colors...:O the vertical perspective is great!
(by the way, amazing songwriter the one you put in your signature ;))

Thank you. It was the only vertical shot I've made in over 2 years, and somehow it came out to be 'the lucky one'. I should probably try it more often :)

And Tuomas is, indeed, one of the best songwriters I know.

The colours are awesome, so are the clouds.

Love the tree that's perfectly centralised

Amazing! The sky looks like a big layered cake, and the bird really adds depth to this photo :)
Cool stars ;)
Definitely a :+fav:.

PS: I think the sky's a bit noisy...

Well, the bird and the stars weren't there originally, but I thought they'd be a nice addition ;)
I know about the noise, but I couldn't really remove it without compromising the sharpness - and (surprisingly) this time I didn't want to blur everything out :) I don't think it's that noticable, really...

This one goes straight to my fav :D

You really exploited the vertical aspect, especially by adding those stars, taking us to the higher step possible. Also, I agree that the noise in the sky is noticeable, but since the title is "Fire in the sky", it contributes to make us "feel the heat".

Great!
