South Island, west coast, New Zealand. I was following the Croesus track - a two-day walk of about 35km. Coming down from the ridge, just below the tree-line I saw this - primeval beech wood covered in fog, with sunlight trying to break through. It was beautiful, and only lasted for a few minutes - luckily I had my camera ready.
This is probably the first picture I submit without absolutely ANY tweaking (apart from the obvious title frame).
