Life constantly puts you on crossroads, forcing you to choose one of the roads. You take your pick and know that you'll never return here again. So you just walk ahead towards the next road fork and hope this one goes through some beatiful fields and woods and doesn't suddenly end in a swamp...

This is so beautiful, but it also seems to have a hint of sadness to it.

Was this a fork in the road? It kind of seems like it. I think it would have added to it if we could see the fork as well, but this works pretty well too. :)

I like the idea...the fact that one road leads into the forest, and another stays away from it. But you still never know what lays beyond :)
The forest road, which seemed harder in the first place, could lead you to the beautiful meadow, and the other road could lead straight to nuclear waste depository, for example...so, the easiest way isn't necessary the best way ;)
