I've just returned from my 3-month trip to New Zealand, obviously with thousands of pictures. This is on of them, fantastic place not far from Christchurch. The road was quite high up in the hills, and I often had to walk through deep fog, which covered everything over 10 meters from me - and everything would suddenly appear more interesting and almost magical...
Barely visible on the background is the Pacific Ocean.
Absolutely amazing shot! You are right there is an almost magical feel to this. Wonderful lighting and colours! Really nice work!
I know a lot of people say this when they see pictures like this but I REALLY want to go to New Zealand one day. It looks and sounds like an amazing place.
